Discipleship Pathway

Growing together in Christ.

We desire to see people continually growing in their faith and becoming more like Jesus. Through God’s Word, prayer, worship, and community, He transforms us over time.

Our Discipleship Pathway helps you take meaningful next steps—from exploring Christianity to growing in spiritual leadership and discipling others.

New

The New phase is for those exploring Christianity, new to faith, or looking for a church home.

This is a season of getting to know Living Hope, understanding the gospel, and learning what we believe as a church. For some, this may begin by watching online, listening to sermons, or planning a first visit on a Sunday morning.

Our desire is to help people feel welcomed, ask questions, and begin taking their first steps toward Christ and His church.

Grow

Behold God. Belong to His people.

The Grow phase is about becoming rooted in the life of the church and continuing to mature in faith.

This includes learning to behold God through His Word, prayer, worship, and gathering together as a church. It also includes belonging to biblical community through groups, serving, membership, baptism, generosity, and discipleship.

As people grow, we encourage them to walk through our Next Steps process:

  • Step 1: Welcome — Get connected and ask questions

  • Step 2: Discover — Learn who we are and what we believe

  • Step 3: Grow — Take next steps through baptism, membership, groups, and serving

This is where faith becomes more intentional and where church begins to feel like family.

Lead

Help others grow in Christ

As believers mature in faith, many are called to begin investing in others.

The Lead phase includes serving, mentoring, discipling, leading groups, caring for others, and growing deeper in theology, ministry philosophy, and spiritual leadership.

For some, this may include opportunities like:

  • Leading a group

  • Mentoring others

  • Serving in ministry leadership

  • Participating in Equipped to Care

  • Receiving leadership development and training

Leadership at Living Hope is not about status, but about humbly serving others while continuing to grow in Christ yourself.

Elder Development

Some men may be invited into an Elder Development process as they demonstrate spiritual maturity, biblical conviction, godly character, and a heart for shepherding people.

At Living Hope, we intentionally invest in training and developing future elders who can faithfully help lead and care for the church.

Our prayer is to continually raise up leaders who love Jesus, love His church, and desire to see people transformed by the gospel.
