After the service, stop by the Welcome Centre where a team member can answer questions, help you get oriented, and point you toward your next step at Living Hope.

You can also fill out a Connect Card so we can personally welcome you and help you find your place in the life of our church.

Our Baptism & Membership Class helps unpack what it means to follow Jesus publicly and become an active part of the local church.

Together, we walk through:

  • The gospel and assurance of salvation

  • Baptism and church membership

  • Spiritual growth and discipleship

  • Practical next steps in community and service

This class is designed to help you continue growing in faith, community, and mission.

Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ and an important step of obedience for every believer. Through baptism, a Christian identifies with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection and publicly declares their desire to follow Him. At Living Hope, we practise believer’s baptism by immersion, meaning we baptize those who are able to personally profess faith in Jesus Christ.

Church membership is a commitment to belong to and participate in the life of the local church. At Living Hope, membership is about more than attendance—it’s about worshipping, growing, serving, and caring for one another as part of the body of Christ.

To become a member at Living Hope, we ask that individuals attend a Step 3 Class and have been baptized as believers.
