Living Hope Church exists to glorify God and make Jesus known.

We desire to see people transformed by the gospel as they learn to Behold God, Belong to His people, and Build His kingdom together. We call this our How We Grow framework.

We are a Bible-teaching church committed to helping people grow as disciples of Jesus through worship, community, prayer, discipleship, and the faithful teaching of God’s Word.

The church is more than a building or a Sunday gathering—it is a spiritual family learning to follow Jesus together.

Our Story

Living Hope Church has a long history of God's faithfulness in Georgetown and the surrounding community.

Our church began in 1966 as Georgetown Alliance Church, meeting in various locations throughout the community before moving to our current property at 290 Main Street South in 1989. As God continued to grow the church, the building was expanded in 1998 to support the ministry and mission He had entrusted to us.

Over the decades, God has used Living Hope to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, care for people, and partner in His work both locally and around the world. In 2020, we joined the Great Commission Collective, strengthening our commitment to church planting, disciple-making, and gospel-centred ministry.

While we are grateful for our history, our story is ultimately about God's ongoing faithfulness. We remain committed to faithfully teaching His Word, helping people follow Jesus, and making Him known to the next generation.

Living Hope is part of the Great Commission Collective (GCC), a family of like-minded churches committed to biblical preaching, discipleship, church planting, and leadership development.

Together with churches across Canada and around the world, we work to strengthen churches and plant new gospel-centred churches for the glory of God.
