Steve Kroeker
Lead Pastor
Steve joined the team at Living Hope in 2019 after 13 years of ministry in BC and Manitoba. He is married to Melissa and together they have 4 kids. He completed a Bachelor of Arts (Biblical Studies) at Briercrest and a Master of Divinity at Western Seminary in Portland. His biggest influences have been Tim Keller, John Piper, and J.I. Packer. He has contributed articles for Desiring God and TGC Canada and wrote his first book in 2011. He loves sports, hiking, board games and travelling. He is passionate about teaching the Bible so that people will see the gospel and be transformed for the glory of God.
Dr. Paul Little
Senior Pastor Emeritus
Paul has served as the Senior Pastor of Living Hope for 32 years. Paul is a gifted preacher and leader. He and Cindy have two adult children and one grandson. In his spare time he enjoys skiing and hunting. He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Seminary.
Jeff Dykxhoorn
Adult Ministries Pastor
Jeff has been part of Living Hope for over 25 years and serving on staff since 2010. His responsibilities include leading the Adult Ministries team, overseeing discipleship, evangelism, care, seniors, hospitality and newcomer integration. He and Sharron have been married 30 years and have two married children and 2 grandchildren. He loves classic cars and especially working on his 1958 Ford. He lists his biggest influences as R.C. Sproul, Robbie Symons, Francis Chan and Tim Keller. Jeff is passionate about helping people feel welcome at Living Hope and seeing them connect in and grow into equipped believers.
Rob Brockman
Worship Pastor
Rob has been serving as Worship Pastor at Living Hope since 2012. Rob is married to Sienna, and they live together in a tiny cozy apartment in downtown Georgetown. Rob and Sienna love to open up their home to family and friends, and are passionate about building a community of hospitality and theologically mature men and women. Rob has his Bachelor of Religious Education (Pastoral Studies) from Tyndale College and Seminary in Toronto, and is working on his Masters of Divinity at Heritage Seminary in Cambridge. Rob is passionate about worship, missions, teaching God's Word, and shepherding God's people well.
Braden Slessor
Adult Discipleship Pastor
Braden has belonged to Living Hope since 2003 and has been on staff since 2015. He gives oversight to small groups and adult education. He is passionate about equipping people to follow Christ well in all aspects of life and in every circumstance. He is married to Leah and they have a golden doodle named Toby. He is a life-long, die-hard Leafs fan and his favourite theologians are John Piper, D.A. Carson, C.H. Spurgeon, Jonathan Edwards, and John Calvin. He has earned an undergraduate degree in Theology and Pastoral Studies and is currently working through his Master of Divinity at Heritage Seminary in Cambridge.
Kaylon Joseph
Director of Youth Ministries
Kaylon joined the staff of Living Hope Church in 2020. He received a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University and a Master of Theological Studies from Heritage College and Seminary. He loves the local church and seeks to bless God’s people. He desires to see youth transformed by the gospel and apply God’s Word to their lives by the help of the Spirit. Kaylon loves watching a good movie, whether at home or in the theatre. Some of his ministry heroes are John Piper, R.C. Sproul, Ravi Zacharias, and Charles Spurgeon.
Kim Brightman
Director of Children's Ministries
Kim has been part of Living Hope since 1995 and has been on staff since 2020. She is excited to take her education as a certified teacher for both elementary and secondary grades and apply that to the children’s ministry. She is passionate about seeing children come to Christ through God-Centered programming, and has a heart for children with exceptionalities. Having been apart of Living Hope's Children’s ministries growing up, she knows and understands the importance of the ministry in children’s lives. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, drinking lattes and making memories with her two children.
Brian Russell
Pastor of Care & Counselling
Brian gives oversight to the Living Hope Centre for Care and Counselling (the house right beside the church building). He's been at Living Hope since 2018. Brian has been married to Sheri since 1992 and they have three adult daughters. He loves mountain biking, camping and canoeing (especially if all those happen at the same time). He is passionate about people’s growth and healing, their increasing intimacy with Jesus, and seeing people live in the freedom Jesus gives. Brian holds a Diploma in Christian Counselling and a Masters of Science in Community Counselling.
Diana Lamothe
Director of Support Services
Diana has been part of Living Hope since 1997, and on staff since 2014. Diana gives oversight to Support Services (finances, HR, building, and administration). She and Alain have been married for 23 years and have two teenaged kids. Alain and Diana also oversee missions at Living Hope.
Sue Brady
Administrator
Sue has worked on staff for 22 years and attended Living Hope for 36 years. She and Peter have been married for 41 years and have two adult children and one grandson. Sue loves to work with figures and is highly detail oriented, which makes her a huge asset in administering the finances of the church. She loves to work behind the scenes and serve the church. She names R.C. Sproul, Billy Graham and Paul Little as her favourite Bible teachers.
Leslie Livingstone
Receptionist
Leslie has been working at Living Hope for 16 years. She loves to welcome people who are new to Living Hope. She and Brian have been married for 39 years and have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. Her favourite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6.
